Here near the site of the famous Battle of Bosworth where Richard III famously didn’t actually cry “A horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse!” (except in the Shakespeare play), you can drive a real tank, engage in tank paintballing, and a host of other great military and warlike activities. All in complete safety, of course, which as far as we’re concerned is the best way when it comes to being warlike!

Here is the complete list of the experience days you can get here:

  • Tank Paintball Battles
  • Woodland Paintball Games
  • Tank Driving Taster
  • Airsoft Games
  • Tank Driving Experience
  • Air Rifle Shooting
  • Dads & Lads Tank Experience
  • Military Vehicle Driving
  • Archery
  • Air Rifle / Archery Combo
  • Quad Safari
  • Clay pigeon shooting
  • Hovercraft Experience

So you’d have to be very picky indeed not to find something there that gets you going.

Experiencey Top Tip

One of the perennial favourites is the Dads and Lads (aka Lads and Dads) tank driving experience where you can take a child (8 and over) inside a real tank and drive it round together. As well as being fun for kids, it’s great fun for the dads as well. Note, it’s not only for lads, it’s for girls too, and it’s not only for dads, it’s for uncles, friends of the family, mums, aunts, grans or in fact people of any kind.

So it’s any sex, and any relation or no relation, but the only rule is that there’s two of you and at least one must be over 18. It’s just that dads and lads rhymes a lot better than mums and girls, mums and lads, dads and girls, uncles and nieces, adults and kids, or any other combination of real people you can find who are welcome on this particular tank driving experience.
