Dartmoor Llama Walks does exactly what it’s name suggests – treks with llamas and alpacas through the stunning Dartmoor National Park. The company runs a range of guided Alpaca & Llama Walks.:

  • Half Day Walk – meet the llamas, with a bit of information about the animals and how to handle them (they generally look after themselves especially if there’s a hedge nearby to munch on). The walk takes about 4 hours, with a picnic lunch break and rest for the llamas in the middle.
  • Short/Evening Walk – A short introduction followed by a relaxing 2 hour walk, with a break for coffee and a cake.
  • Cream Tea Walk – A shorter walk lasting up to 3 hours with a break for traditional cream tea or light lunch depending on the time of year.
  • Individually Tailored Walks – If you want a special trek or have a specific request, just let the organisers know before you book. They are a friendly bunch who can tailor walks to your needs and adapt start and finish times to suit you.

Experiencey top tip

All the walks are priced with one Llama between 2. If you would like a llama to yourself, just let them know when booking to get a price.
