You may think you want to keep bees, but it’s such a confusing and complicated industry that it’s great to have an introductory experience. After all, you don’t want to spend thousands on a hive and fill it with lovely bees only to discover that you really hate them.
That’s where the Bee Experience Session from Leigh’s Bees comes in. Set in North Norfolk, this bee experience is an introduction into the world of bee keeping and honey making.
What happens on this beekeeping experience?
The sessions are all different and revolve around what you want to know. The experience can cover everything from the structure of an empty hive to hands-on time looking through a working honeybee colony in one of Leigh’s Bees’ apiaries.
The sessions normally last between two and four hours depending on the size of the group and the number of questions you’ve got. And with a maximum of four people per session, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to find out exactly what you need to know about bees.
