It’s quite straightforward at Severnwye Llama trekking – You pay per person and join the prearranged trek. If you want extras, you can add Geoffrey the donkey or a friendly mule to pull you in a carriage.
What happens on the llama trek?
After meeting at Severnwye Farm, you will meet the llamas, mules and donkeys and your guide will show you how to handle them. They will carry all your provisions and kit for the day. Llama treks normally last from 11am to 4pm with a break in the middle for a picnic lunch and to give the llamas a well-earned break. Three friendly dogs also accompany the walks, so well behaved, calm dogs are always welcome.
The walks go right into the centre of the royal Forest of Dean, so it’s a really lovely walk.
